Each year, ATD Baton Rouge membership elects members to lead the organization.  All chapter leaders are volunteers that help the organization to provide programs and services to its members.  Click on a link to see information about current chapter leaders.

Regina Leingang, Ph.D.      
Leadership Development Consultant
BRGMC - General Health System      
Regina is a Leadership Development Consultant at the Baton Rouge General Health System. She is a graduate of LSU (B.S. 2005, MPA 2009, and Ph.D. 2013). Regina began her career with the Baton Rouge General in 2015 as their first Leadership Development Consultant. Regina has over 10 years of experience with the State of Louisiana in various roles and organizations before advancing to the Health Care arena. Regina is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Certified Professional within the Society for Human Resources (SHRM-CP). Regina is also a DiSC® facilitator and has conducted several workshops as well as a Master TeamSTEPPS trainer teaching people and teams' strategies and tools to enhance their performance.
Regina is a national member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and a local member of Greater Baton Rouge SHRM as well as the Executive Secretary for the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. In her spare time Regina enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, family and cheering on the LSU tigers and the New Orleans Saints.
Chapter Responsibilities
Schedule, create agenda for, and preside over Board Meetings and Chapter meetings; Ensure the achievement of the current Chapter objectives and the development of long-range plans by coordinating, monitoring, and coaching the performance of Chapter officers; Authorize all expenditures in excess of approved budgets; Act as the liaison for the Chapter on all regional and association related affairs required to maintain our affiliate status of the Association for Talent Development; Chair of the Risk Management Committee, Bylaws Committee and Presidents Council.

Susana Reyes Lee, M.S., CPLP
Training and Organizational Development Specialist
Essential Federal Credit Union

Susana loves to assist in researching and collaborating on projects to find a resolution.  Her creativity comes from the synergy that develops from bringing a team together.   She is currently serving in a Training and Organizational Development Specialist role at Essential Federal Credit Union. 


Through the years, Susana has been able to gain great experience in various areas of talent development while  leveraging the use of technology when necessary.  The majority of her career has been spent in government, from the State of Louisiana to LSU, but has afforded the opportunity to lead several training  and eLearning initiatives that have positively impacted several departments and agencies across the United States.  Susana's current opportunities are now allowing her to grow in areas such as organizational development, leadership development, needs assessment, performance management, employee onboarding and orientation. 


Susana has received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Science in Human Resource Education, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate for  the Human Resource Education and Leadership Development degree, all from Louisiana State University. 


Susana finds time to provide service in the community especially as it relates to ensuring that students start early college and career planning.  She also enjoys managing schedules for her three kids and working with her husband's photography business.  Additionally, she finds time to cheer on the Saints and LSU while visiting family members in New Orleans and Shreveport. 
Chapter Responsibilities
The President-Elect shall develop and coordinate a leadership development program; coordinate the development of long-range chapter plans; and preside over meetings in the absence of the President.

Elizabeth N. Beckham, MS
Learning and Development Manager
Turner Industries Group, LLC

Elizabeth is a designer and writer with years of learning and development experience across multiple industries: hospitality, academia, gaming, construction, healthcare, and petrochemical. In her role with Turner Industries Group, she manages the professional development series and social media recruitment program, multiple HR and communication systems, and serves as an internal learning consultant.          
Elizabeth is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master's degree in Workforce Training and Development from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Additional credentials include: Certified Occupational Safety Manager (COSM), Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Master Trainer, and Certified Learning Professional (CLP) certificate from the Jack and Patti Phillips Workforce Learning and Performance Institute at the University of Southern Mississippi.  In her spare time, she enjoys Saints football, writing, exploring southern culture, coaching youth basketball, and spending time with her friends and family.   
Chapter Responsibilities 
The Past President shall serve on the President's Council, submit CARE report to ATD National, coordinate Employee Learning Week, and assist the board on special projects. 





Sallie Williams


Sallie discovered her love of learning design and delivery in the course of a 28-year career at the international management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company.  She started her career at McKinsey heading up the research function in the Atlanta Office, then moved on the manage the Firm's Strategy Practice, and finally landed as global leader of the Strategy Practice learning function for the last ten years of her McKinsey career.  In that capacity, she developed, implemented, and periodically revised in-person, distance, and blended learning programs in strategy for all levels of McKinsey consultants, as well as a handful of client programs.  These were delivered to a global audience representing participants from all over the world.  Prior to working for McKinsey in Atlanta, Sallie worked here in Baton Rouge for The Advocate.


Sallie holds Bachelor of Science in General studies and Master of Library and Information Science degrees, both from LSU.  

After 28 years of living in Atlanta and Brussels, Belgium, Sallie returned to Baton Rouge in late 2015 after reconnecting with -- and eventually marrying a man she had known in high school and college.


Sallie is currently open to finding the right opportunity to continue work in learning design and development and, in the meantime is busy with her husband and three adult children, singing in the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus, and various volunteer and recreational endeavors.

Chapter Responsibilities
The Secretary shall conduct, record, and disseminate all matters of decision made by the board of directors, maintain and update chapter leadership rosters and documents as well as record minutes of meetings. 



Missy Korduner, PhD

First Year Experience Director
Louisiana State University


Missy Korduner, PhD serves as the Director of LSU First Year Experience overseeing the department's programming initiatives, strategic planning, assessment, budget, and professional and student leader training and development. She currently serves as a directorate board member for ACPA's Commission for Administrative Leadership. She has previously been recognized as the Outstanding Experienced Professional by ACPA's Commission for Admissions, Orientation, and First Year Experience. She has 14 years of experience working in the field with a focus on student staff training and development, first year students, transition programs, and assessment. 

Outside of her professional responsibilities, she volunteers as a Collegiate Regional Director for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women mentoring collegiate leaders across 18 chapters in the northeast and leading a team of 5 alumnae volunteers. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Education from LSU, a MA in Education (Higher Education/Student Affairs) from the University of Connecticut, and a BA in Music from the University of Connecticut. 

In her free time she enjoys running, playing with her 3 rescue dogs, and spending time with her husband and son. 
Chapter Responsibilities
The treasurer shall assume the office of President in the event that the President and President-Elect are unable to assume their roles; prepare an annual budget; collect and be custodian of all funds; keep records of income and expenditures; provide monthly financial status report to Board; render to the membership an annual report on all financial transactions; provide data for any audits requested by the Finance Committee; and serve on the Finance Committee.

VP of Marketing and Communications

Burgundy Cummings,
Training & Development Specialist
Secretary of State


Burgundy Cummings is responsible for Training and Development at the Secretary of State’s office.  She creates and delivers eLearning and facilitator-led training on various soft skills and leadership development topics.  She manages the LMS (learning management system) for the Department.

Burgundy has over 10 years of Human Resources experience and has transitioned into a training role within the last 5 years.  She is excited in her new role as the VP of Marketing and Communications and looks forward to meeting more members of ATD!      


Chapter Responsibilities
The VP of Marketing and Communications shall create and distribute press releases, prepare and execute the chapter marketing, communication, and social media engagement plans, serve on the professional development committee, and works with board members to develop publications and reports.

Chapter Responsibilities
The Vice President for Membership shall recruit new Power and Chapter members from the private and public sectors; develop and implement a chapter handbook; serve on the Membership Committee; and be custodian of all membership records.

 Pam Dychtwald

Environmental Business Specialists


Pam is a Talent Management Manager at Environmental Business Specialists in Mandeville,Louisiana. She serves in a multi functional role, as the Human Resource Leader and Learning Development adviser. She is highly proficient in developing and implementing innovative recruitment and retention strategies, researching and implementing human resource information systems, developing employee policies and procedures, managing employee relations, developing competency frameworks, performance management and measurement systems, safety and security programs, business process redesign, call-center design and development, and conflict response and management initiatives. has a vast knowledge of I partner with all levels of professionals to implement and deliver programs to augment growth.


Prior to her role in Talent Management, Pam was an independent consultant for multiple organizations throughout the south.  She assessed the needs, developed programs and facilitated the learning application for her clients. Her consulting lead her to a variety of opportunities to delve into other areas of the Talent Development spectrum.  


Pam earned her Bachelors from Louisiana State University.  She resides outside of the city limits on fields of farm land.   


Chapter Responsibilities
The Vice President of Programs shall plan membership meeting presentations for the calendar year by identifying relevant topics and qualified speakers and provide oversight for the Professional Development and Special Interest Group (SIG) program managers.
VP of Technology    

Latoria Williams
Senior Learning Specialist
Neighbors Federal Credit Union


Latoria Williams is currently a Senior Learning Specialist at Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge, La. Her primary responsibilities consist of developing and delivering member service training that are aligned with strategic priorities, maintaining the company’s learning management system and coordinating and facilitating other learning activities as needed. Latoria is in the beginning stages of creating a mentorship program to assist in developing the talent of internal employees. In addition to those roles, Latoria supports the Neighbors Way culture by being involved on a special team to assist with increasing employee morale.

Latoria completed her undergraduate studies at Southern University A&M College earning a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies.

Latoria enjoys reading, spending time with family/friends, cooking and outdoor activities. 


Chapter Responsibilities  
The Vice President of Technology shall serve as webmaster and maintain the local chapter website and any other similar technology utilized by the chapter.

Melanie currently works with Pelican State Credit Union as a Member & Guest Relations Officer.  



Chapter Responsibilities
The Vice President of Hospitality shall provide hospitality services for all chapter membership meetings, serve on the Hospitality committee, and schedule annual holiday networking social events.
