As a Trainer or Human Resources practitioner you may spend your time helping make others successful. Take time to tend your own career in this session where we will uncover the secrets of managing a successful career:

  • How to get tagged as “High Potential” or “Top Talent” in your organization
  • What the research says about what makes people successful and promotable 
  • Why you should “own” your professional development 
  • The three things you should do to ensure career security

Program Objectives
The objective of this session is to focus or refocus participants on making their own careers successful by learning about what will make them a "high potential" in their organization and the actions and strategies to get there.

Devin is president of Success Labs, a strategic organizational and leadership development company. For more than 15 years, Devin has partnered with companies to successfully grow their teams and talent during times of growth, change and transition. Her experience includes creating custom leadership development and succession planning processes and facilitating strategic planning for local and global companies including: Albemarle, Genesis Energy, CF Industries, General Health System, CK & Associates and Starmount.

Devin is a graduate of LSU and the mother of 22 year old triplets.

 Cancellation Policy
As soon as you complete the registration process, you will be guaranteed a seat at this event. The completed registration process initiates an invoice from your ASTD Baton Rouge Chapter to you that may be paid online, by mail, or on the day of the event.

Your ASTD Baton Rouge Chapter may have to pay for your meal and other fees if you register and then cannot attend.  To help us protect your chapter’s finances, please submit cancellations at least 48 hours before the event.  Otherwise, we will have to invoice you to cover these costs.  If that should happen, we will be happy to receive your registration for future events as soon as you have settled your outstanding balance.
