SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

This one day highly-interactive seminar will educate your company’s leadership and managers about the concept of employee engagement and how critical it is to become the employer of choice.  A highly engaged workforce has well documented outcomes that result in reduced accidents, adverse incidents and turnover while creating a more profitable and sustainable business model. The seminar will consist of understanding engagement vs. satisfaction, the drivers of employee engagement for each generation in today’s workforce, and how an employer can develop their own organizational plan for a highly engaged workforce. The materials are based upon best practices compiled from extensive research from industry leading consulting firms in combination with experiences of the instructor. Three case studies will be examined in small group settings and an engagement survey will be administered in the class for discussion purposes.

Craig Juengling has over two decades of executive level leadership experience, principally as a hospital CEO or Division President supervising hospital chief executives. 

As an executive of a Fortune 5000 company for eight years, his responsibilities grew progressively to include running a Division of eleven hospitals in seven states with nearly 1500 employees and gross revenues in excess of $150 million.

Juengling went on to build

Maryland’s second largest specialty health care system by acquiring competitors and aggressive internal growth strategies.  Over the course of ten years, the company grew from one location with $18 million in annual revenue to eight locations with nearly $80 million in annual revenue with over 750 employees. He credits much of the rapid growth and success to a highly engaged workforce and outstanding leadership team.

In addition to his expertise in workplace development, Juengling is a Certified Coach working exclusively with executives and entrepreneurs after leaving his healthcare career; he coaches clients who wish to improve the performance of their companies through implementation of focused, disciplined and strategic action plans.
