ASHRM is excited to offer a joint meeting between ASHRM and ATD to discuss Workplace Learning Strategies. The ATD team will provide a presentation that will help prepare each of your organizations to implement effective learning strategies that will make an impact for your staff and organization.

The 3 main areas of discussion will be:
• Managing learning programs
• Knowing when to train/blended learning strategies
• Learning technologies

This presentation will also prepare everyone to celebrate The Association of Talent Development's Employee Learning Week; which takes place during the 1st week in December.

Presented by: The Association for Talent Development - Our members and customers are professionals who help others achieve their full potential by improving their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace. They go by many titles: talent development managers, trainers, instructional designers, performance consultants, frontline managers, workplace learning professionals, and more. ATD’s members come from more than 120 countries and work in organizations of all sizes and in all industry sectors. The Baton Rouge, LA was the 1st chapter to form! ​



Susana Lee is currently serving in a Training and Organizational Development Specialist role within the HR group at Essential Federal Credit Union. Through the years, Susana has been able to gain great experience in various areas of talent development while leveraging the use of technology when necessary. Most of her career has been spent in government, from the State of Louisiana to LSU, but has afforded the opportunity to lead several training and eLearning initiatives that have positively impacted several departments and agencies across the United States. The Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is a broad-based certification offered by the ATD Certification Institute for talent development professionals. Susana holds one of the few certifications that have been awarded in Louisiana.



Regina Leingang is a Leadership Development Consultant at the Baton Rouge General Health System. She is a graduate of LSU. She is a certified, Senior Professional in Human resources (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional within the Society for Human resources (SHRM-CP). Regina is actively involved as the current Past-President for the ATD – Baton Rouge Chapter. She is also a national member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a local member of the Greater Baton Rouge SHRM.



Mechelle Roberthon serves as a Senior Learning Partner for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. She is a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in PowerPoint 2016, and she holds a Master’s of Science in Education with a specialization in Training and Performance Improvement. This includes core competencies such as identifying performance gaps through conducting a needs analysis, designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions. Mechelle is also an experienced career and professional development instructor.
